Stonecutter Damage

Stonecutter Damage is a Minecraft Java datapack that turns the stonecutter’s visible saw blade into a real hazard. Any creature walking across the block receives 1 point of damage, equal to half a heart, giving this normally harmless workstation a more believable role in survival gameplay.

Designed for singleplayer and a Minecraft server, the datapack works with every mob by default and can exclude selected entity types through the stonecutter damage blacklist tag. Our BoxToPlay team recommends it for dangerous bases, compact mob traps, and small vanilla gameplay improvements that add atmosphere without changing recipes or introducing a mod.
