Developer’s note: Adds new recipes and other functionality for sculk blocks, items, and the warden.

Sculk Expansion datapack

Sculk Expansion is a Minecraft datapack for Java Edition that deepens gameplay around sculk and the Warden. It adds new crafting and smelting style recipes, plus practical changes that make ancient cities and the Deep Dark feel more alive on a Minecraft server.

Its main features include climbable sculk veins, stronger interaction with the recovery compass, and Warden behavior changes such as sculk spreading while walking. With BoxToPlay, our goal is to make these mechanics easy to enjoy in survival worlds, while keeping the experience fresh, useful, and fully focused on sculk themed progression.
