Player Count Message is a Bukkit plugin that replaces the standard text shown when someone hovers over the player count in the Minecraft server list. It lets administrators display a custom message and, in its expanded 4.3 release, animate the server ping, MOTD, player list, version name, and server icon.
Designed for older Bukkit and BungeeCord environments, it is useful for presenting rules, announcements, links, or branding before players join. The Bukkit mode requires ProtocolLib, and project information lists support around Minecraft 1.7 and 1.8.
