Immersive Bards, musical support for Minecraft servers
Immersive Bards is a Java Edition datapack addon for the Immersive Melodies mod, transforming instruments into tools for group support. While playing, a musician grants Strength and Regeneration to nearby players within 10 blocks, making musical performances useful during exploration, dungeon runs, and combat on a multiplayer Minecraft server.
The effect also reaches owned mobs, including modded companions. Owned undead receive Instant Health with improved healing, while instrument carrying hostile mobs can strengthen selected vanilla allies around them. Creepers are excluded from these effects. At BoxToPlay, we recommend it for servers seeking a playful support mechanic that gives music a genuine gameplay purpose.
