NotTooExpensive, flexible anvil costs

NotTooExpensive is a Java server plugin for Bukkit based Minecraft servers that changes the vanilla anvil experience. It lets administrators define the maximum enchantment level and choose whether anvil operations may exceed the usual experience threshold, preventing the familiar “Too Expensive!” result from blocking valuable repairs, combinations, or renamed gear.

The plugin can also cap operation costs at a chosen level and reset an item’s accumulated repair cost, with ItemNBTAPI required for that reset feature. Optional hotbar messaging helps players see costs above the client display limit. Our BoxToPlay team recommends it for a more flexible Minecraft server economy and progression system.
