Nether View, see through portals
Nether View is a Spigot plugin for a Java Edition Minecraft server that replaces the usual purple portal effect with a live view of the linked destination. Players can inspect terrain and, in supported configurations, see players and mobs before travelling, making Nether gateways more immersive and useful for navigation.
It supports vanilla portal sizes when paired portals match and use complete obsidian frames, plus custom portals with configurable links. Administrators can adjust viewing distance, portal size, entity visibility, world lists, and individual viewing permissions. Compatible with Minecraft versions 1.8 through 1.16, it requires ProtocolLib. BoxToPlay makes this server enhancement easy to add with one click.
