Languagy is a Spigot API designed for plugin developers who want to deliver messages in each player’s preferred language. It reads the locale selected in the Minecraft client and retrieves the corresponding translation, supporting all Minecraft client languages.
Rather than translating text automatically, Languagy provides a clean framework for organizing and serving translation files supplied by the plugin author. Missing translations fall back to the default language, usually English. Language data can be updated while the server is running, with minimal performance impact. For an inclusive Minecraft server, our BoxToPlay team considers it a useful development library, although it is no longer updated and recommends Adventure’s locale API instead.
