BackOnDeath is a lightweight plugin for a Java Edition Minecraft server running Bukkit, Paper, or Spigot. It records a player’s most recent death location and lets them return there with the /back command, making item recovery and survival progression less frustrating.
The plugin checks for a safe nearby position, removes the stored point only after a successful teleport, and supports configurable expiration, warmup, cooldown, and combat protection. A clickable reminder can appear after respawn, while language files support localized messages. With its simple, fair approach, BackOnDeath is a practical utility our BoxToPlay team recommends for survival and SMP gameplay.
