Laser Pointer is a Minecraft datapack that adds a craftable, high tech pointing device to Java Edition. Combining a spyglass with redstone and glowstone dust creates an item that projects a vivid red particle beam up to 128 blocks, making distant targets and locations easy to indicate on a Minecraft server.
Its beam is more than visual. When it reaches a creeper, it can ignite the mob, while striking blocks triggers small explosions.
