Modern Multitools is a Minecraft datapack for Java Edition 1.20.5 and later that turns separate tools into practical multitools. It combines axe, pickaxe, hoe, and shovel into one item, helping reduce inventory clutter on any Minecraft server.

Its main appeal is efficiency: multitools adapt to blocks, keep strong durability, and can handle extra block interactions such as paths, stripping, and similar utility actions. For players and our BoxToPlay community, it adds smoother survival gameplay without changing the vanilla feel too much.
