Realistic Time is a Minecraft Java datapack that synchronizes the in game clock with real world time at a 1:1 scale. One second outside the game corresponds to one second in Minecraft, replacing the usual rapid day and night cycle with a slower, more atmospheric rhythm. This creates a consistent setting for survival, roleplay, exploration, and any Minecraft server built around immersion.
The datapack also introduces a custom 28 day year divided into four seasons, dynamic moon phases, and a contextual news and alerts system showing information such as the current time, season, moon phase, biome conditions, and world events. Some weather features remain in development. BoxToPlay makes this experience easy to enjoy on your server.
