Screentext is a Minecraft mod for Fabric and Forge that adds dynamic information and visual elements directly to the game screen. Rather than a conventional plugin, it supports custom text, timers, counters, images, and animated GIF textures, making it useful for minigames, quests, events, tutorials, and immersive interfaces on a Minecraft server. It is compatible with Fabric from Minecraft 1.20.1 to 1.21.11, and Forge from 1.20.1 to 1.20.4.
Through the /screentext command, creators can position, scale, rotate, animate, and move each display while adjusting backgrounds, colors, sounds, delays, and fade effects. Multiline text, inline item or texture rendering, and pause or resume controls add further flexibility. At BoxToPlay, we see it as a practical tool for creating clear, polished HUD experiences.
