Nostalgic Bed is a Minecraft Java datapack that brings back the familiar early game bed recipe. Instead of requiring matching wool colors, it lets players craft a red bed with any combination of wool and wooden planks. This small change gives survival starts a distinctly nostalgic feel while making a bed easier to obtain on the first day.

Once crafted, the bed can be dyed to obtain other colors, preserving modern decoration options without changing the wider gameplay loop.
