CommandCooldown is a lightweight Bukkit and Spigot plugin that adds waiting periods to selected commands on a Minecraft server. It helps reduce spam and balance frequently used features without changing the commands themselves. The original project is presented as tested with Minecraft versions 1.7 through 1.10.

Administrators can configure individual command cooldowns, apply a global delay, connect several commands to one shared timer, and customize feedback messages. Permission nodes also allow different cooldown durations for specific players or groups, while a bypass permission lets staff ignore restrictions.
