Runes is a Minecraft Java mod that adds rune stones designed to fuel spells from compatible magic mods. Each rune represents an affinity, including arcane, fire, frost, and healing, giving spellcasters a practical resource to gather and manage during exploration or combat.

Runes use shapeless recipes made from cobblestone and a related material, so they can be crafted by hand or at a crafting table. The dedicated Rune Crafting Altar improves production and yields more runes from the same ingredients. On a Minecraft server, this creates a clear supply loop for magical gameplay. At BoxToPlay, it fits naturally into adventure and RPG modpacks.
