Rail Bridges, Dynamic Infrastructure for Minecraft Worlds

Rail Bridges is a Minecraft datapack for Java Edition that creates roads, rails, tracks, and bridges during world generation. Inspired by The Lost Cities, it places structures across configurable biomes in a loose grid pattern, with adjustable grid size and damage frequency. Some bridges remain complete, while others appear as fragmented ruins.

Its data driven design makes the system highly adaptable for a Minecraft server, allowing bridges to support different transport networks. Vanilla rail bridges are included by default, alongside a Create tracks datapack that can also serve as a template. At BoxToPlay, we see it as a practical way to add atmosphere and infrastructure to exploration focused worlds.
