Elytra Chestplate

Elytra Chestplate is a Minecraft Java datapack that combines a chestplate and an elytra into one wearable item. Crafted with a smithing table, it lets players keep their armor protection while gliding, making exploration, travel, and aerial combat more flexible on a Minecraft server.

The combined item can be equipped and displayed at the same time, while armor trims remain supported. Existing chestplate enchantments, durability, and name are retained during crafting, but elytra enchantments are not. Supporting Minecraft 1.21.2 through 1.21.11, as well as 26.1 and 26.2, it brings a practical equipment upgrade to the BoxToPlay experience.
