Map Atlases is a vanilla friendly Minecraft mod that turns familiar maps into a practical atlas for exploration. Combine a filled map with a book, then add filled or empty maps as you travel. The atlas automatically displays the relevant explored area as a mini map when carried in the hotbar or off hand, while stored maps continue updating your progress.

Open the atlas for a stitched map view with zooming, panning, dimension tabs, coordinates, biome information, and banner waypoints. Atlases can also be merged, displayed on lecterns, and configured to suit a Minecraft server.
