jxpl, Scriptable Bukkit Plugin

jxpl is a legacy Bukkit plugin that acts as a script loader for Minecraft server administration and customization. It loads scripting frameworks compatible with Java’s javax.script API and Invocable interface, allowing server features to be written in supported languages instead of compiled as traditional Java plugins.

JavaScript support is provided through the bundled Rhino engine, while additional engines can be added through jxpl’s library folder. Scripts are placed in a dedicated server scripts directory, making the plugin useful for experimentation, automation, and lightweight gameplay extensions. Our BoxToPlay team presents jxpl as a historical developer tool for legacy Bukkit environments.
