BookWorm is a classic Bukkit plugin that turns Minecraft books into persistent, writable documents. Players can create titles, add text, read pages, change displayed authors, erase or replace passages, and undo recent edits through the /write command. Content is stored directly on each book item, making every copy a distinct in game object rather than a simple bookshelf entry.

Books can also be placed in bookshelves, copied, retrieved, and read in world, which suits roleplay, quests, tutorials, laws, and server lore.
