SmartBans, advanced moderation for Minecraft servers

SmartBans is a Bukkit and Spigot moderation plugin designed as a more advanced alternative to the basic Essentials ban tools. It supports permanent bans, temporary bans, unbans, and player checks, while using UUID based identification to make username changes ineffective for avoiding punishment.

Every sanction can record the reason, duration, and staff member responsible. Messages are fully customizable, including join denial notices and staff notifications, while permission nodes manage bans, checks, exemptions, overrides, and alerts. On BoxToPlay, SmartBans helps our Minecraft server teams apply clear, consistent moderation.
