MyDrops, temporary protection for death drops

MyDrops is a Bukkit plugin that protects items dropped when a player dies on a Minecraft server. For a configurable period, only the owner can collect the items, giving them time to return without letting other players loot the area. This keeps death meaningful while reducing frustration and opportunistic theft.

Server administrators can adjust the protection duration and the radius around the death location, while permissions control who receives protection and who may bypass it. A blacklist can exempt selected item identifiers. At BoxToPlay, we see MyDrops as a practical way to make item recovery fairer without enabling keep inventory.
