ExpLevel is a classic Bukkit plugin that automatically promotes players according to their accumulated experience on a Minecraft server. Administrators define experience thresholds for permission groups in the configuration, creating a simple progression system for survival, roleplay, or RPG gameplay. The plugin relies on Vault to connect with supported permission managers.

Players can use /stats or /expstats to view total experience, their current level, the next level, and the experience still required. Administrators can add, subtract, or set experience for individual players, with promotions and demotions triggered by the updated total.
