Simple Graves, Vanilla Inventory Protection

Simple Graves is a lightweight Minecraft datapack that protects your belongings after an unexpected death without changing the vanilla feel. When you die while carrying items, it places a standard chest, or double chest when needed, at or near the death location and moves your inventory inside. After respawning, a private chat message displays the precise X, Y, and Z coordinates, helping you prepare and return quickly. The datapack also looks for a safer nearby placement when possible, including around lava. Designed for a Minecraft server, it adds practical recovery support with no custom blocks, menus, or magic items, a useful feature for our BoxToPlay experience.
