MapModCompanion is a server plugin for Minecraft Java servers that helps Xaero’s Minimap, Xaero’s World Map, JourneyMap, and VoxelMap correctly recognize the world each player is visiting. It solves confusing map behavior on multi world setups by simulating the presence of the relevant mod on the server side and sending each world a unique identifier.

Designed for Bukkit, Spigot, Paper, Folia, BungeeCord, Velocity, and Waterfall networks, it keeps maps and waypoints associated with the right world without changing gameplay progress.
