Field Guide is an exploration focused Minecraft mod that turns the spyglass into a tool for discovery. Scan plants, animals, monsters, blocks, trees, and other entries from a distance to unlock pages in your personal in game encyclopedia. The guide clearly shows discovered and undiscovered content, making every expedition more rewarding.

Each discovery encourages visits to rare biomes and encounters with unusual creatures. You can write custom notes or use item descriptions, while datapack support lets modpack creators tailor categories and entries. Progress is saved per server for cooperative play, and the mod supports Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge. On BoxToPlay, it adds a rewarding research layer to any Minecraft server.
