IMBlocker, smoother text input for Minecraft
IMBlocker is a client side utility mod that automatically manages Input Methods while you play Minecraft. It detects whether the current screen expects gameplay controls or text, switching the input method on for chat and search fields, then blocking it during movement and menu navigation. This is especially helpful for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean players, reducing accidental key presses and unwanted candidate windows.
It also improves text entry in supported interfaces, with compatibility for Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge across many Java Edition versions. On a Minecraft server, IMBlocker keeps communication more comfortable without changing gameplay, making it a practical quality of life addition recommended by BoxToPlay.
