Bat Membrane, Phantom Free Survival

Bat Membrane is a Minecraft Java Edition datapack that changes how players obtain phantom membrane while removing one of the game’s most disruptive night threats. Phantoms are disabled, so sleeping is no longer required to avoid aerial attacks during long building or exploration sessions.

Bats become a useful alternative source, dropping phantom membrane when defeated. The datapack also adds the “Ol Betsy” advancement for killing two bats with one arrow. Designed for singleplayer worlds and server Minecraft environments, it offers a simple gameplay adjustment that our BoxToPlay team recommends for calmer survival adventures without removing access to Elytra repairs and related recipes.
