blFriends, a social plugin for Minecraft servers

blFriends is an older Bukkit plugin designed to improve player interaction on a Minecraft server. It lets players create friend lists, send and accept invitations, view online friends, and use a private chat reserved for their contacts.

Friends can teleport to one another, exchange the item held in hand as a gift, and prevent friendly fire between members of the same list. The plugin can also award bonus experience when players fight monsters or break blocks near friends. Administrators can control permissions, cooldowns, worlds, regions, and individual features. BoxToPlay considers it a practical choice for classic community focused servers.
