BanVote is a legacy Bukkit plugin that lets players launch community votes to ban, kick, or mute rule breakers on a Minecraft server. Each vote can include a target and reason, while participants respond with yes or no through dedicated commands.
Designed for shared moderation, it offers configurable vote weights, success thresholds, cooldowns, punishment durations, AFK handling, and custom command votes. Administrators can review or release active punishments, and failed votes may also trigger consequences for the initiator or voter. With BoxToPlay, BanVote is a practical option for older server versions needing player assisted moderation.
