NoExpensive, a freer anvil for Minecraft

NoExpensive is a lightweight Fabric mod for Minecraft Java Edition that removes the anvil’s “Too Expensive!” restriction. It lets players repair, rename, and combine equipment when the required experience is available, without being blocked by the usual level limit or accumulated prior work penalty.

The mod also enables normally incompatible enchantments, such as Mending with Infinity or Sharpness with Smite, while offering configuration for maximum repair cost, higher level combinations, and custom compatibility rules. Suitable for a Minecraft server and many legacy or modern versions, it gives our BoxToPlay community more freedom to build powerful gear.
