NPGuys, Dynamic NPC Dialogues

NPGuys is a Citizens extension for a Bukkit based Minecraft server that turns static characters into interactive RPG guides. It lets administrators create conversation trees, define player choices, display NPC and player messages, and connect dialogue branches to requirements or actions. Conversations are presented through a scoreboard interface, giving encounters a clearer, more game like flow than ordinary chat.

With editable NPGuy profiles, dialogues can be attached to specific Citizens NPCs and activated when players interact with them. This makes NPGuys useful for quests, tutorials, role play hubs, and story driven adventures. The project targets older Minecraft releases, including 1.8.1, so our BoxToPlay team recommends treating it as a classic server plugin for suitable legacy setups.
