SoundCenter is a historic Bukkit plugin that enriches a Minecraft server with custom audio. It can associate music boxes, cuboid areas, worlds, biomes, or WorldGuard regions with music and sound effects, then play tracks for one player, a world, or the entire server. Earlier releases also supported webradio streams, while later versions removed that function. Its client interface provides station management, volume controls, and permission settings.
The plugin includes proximity voice chat, with local and global communication modes. It requires a companion client and targets legacy Bukkit releases, notably CraftBukkit 1.7.9. Development ended years ago, so our BoxToPlay team presents it as a classic solution for older servers rather than modern setups.
