FTB Filter System, also known as FFS, is a utility mod for Minecraft Java Edition that gives modpacks a flexible way to recognize and organize items. It adds the Smart Filter, an editable item that opens a clear graphical interface where players can build filter hierarchies with basic and compound conditions.
Filters can target specific items, tags, mods, NBT data, or other criteria, while logical combinations make complex requirements easy to manage. FFS is especially valuable with FTB Quests, but its API lets other mods use the same system. On our BoxToPlay Minecraft server, it helps create smoother progression, automation, and item based objectives.
