Better Burning is a Minecraft Java mod by DarkhaxDev that refines fire and burning mechanics for a more balanced, immersive Minecraft server experience. It gives burning skeletons a chance to fire flaming arrows, lets flint and steel deal burn damage, and allows fire to spread from burning mobs during attacks.
The mod also makes Fire Resistance clear the burn timer and corrects cases where fire damage fails to produce cooked mob drops. Every feature can be adjusted or disabled individually through configuration, making it easy for our BoxToPlay team to tailor gameplay to different survival and adventure servers.
