Entity Culling is a client side performance mod for Minecraft Java Edition, available for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, and Quilt. It uses asynchronous path tracing across additional CPU threads to determine whether mobs and block entities are actually visible from the player’s camera. Objects hidden behind walls, terrain, ceilings, or other structures can therefore be skipped during rendering.
By reducing unnecessary draw calls, the mod can improve frame rates in busy areas filled with chests, machines, villagers, or decorative entities, while leaving simulation and gameplay intact. Its configurable culling options suit a modded Minecraft server experience, and our BoxToPlay environments benefit from a cleaner, more responsive client.
