Modestiary, compatibility datapack for Araxer’s Bestiary

Modestiary is a Minecraft Java datapack for Minecraft 1.20.1 that expands Araxer’s Bestiary with deeper support for creatures added by several mods. It helps players understand unfamiliar enemies and animals directly through the in game bestiary, making exploration and combat more informative on a modded Minecraft server.

The datapack adds descriptions explaining mob behavior and possible interactions, along with spawning information covering structures, summons, and hatching. It also supplies custom loot tables and special drop systems for selected creatures. Compatibility includes mods such as Mowzie’s Mobs, Opposing Force, Species, Whaleborne, Savage & Ravage, Caverns & Chasms, and others.
