Custom Daylight Cycle is a Minecraft Java datapack that replaces the standard daylight progression, letting server owners define separate real time durations for daytime and nighttime. A 30 minute day with a five minute night is one possible setup, making survival schedules more flexible and distinctive.

The pack can pause or resume its custom calculation, apply presets for day, night, sunrise, and sundown, and adjust durations through functions. It changes the sun and moon positions without altering the world’s normal time advancement rule.
