NametagHider is a lightweight Minecraft Java plugin for Paper servers that hides player nametags above their characters, making identification less immediate. When enabled, it uses a scoreboard team to keep names invisible during normal gameplay. A player’s nickname can then be revealed temporarily by right clicking another player, with the result displayed in the action bar or through a configurable format. Server administrators can enable or disable the hiding logic, control right click reveals, reload settings, and customize displayed text with color codes and supported placeholders. At BoxToPlay, we recommend it for stealth focused minigames, roleplay, PvP, and immersive Minecraft server experiences.
