BetterReload for a Safer Minecraft Server

BetterReload is a Java plugin for Bukkit, Spigot, and Paper that replaces the traditional /reload behavior with a more controlled, Sponge inspired system. Instead of forcing every plugin through a full reload, it sends a ReloadEvent, allowing compatible plugins to manage their own configuration refresh.

Administrators can reload all plugins or target selected ones, while configurable external commands extend support to plugins that do not handle the event. The original Bukkit command remains available through /bukkit:reload. For our BoxToPlay Minecraft server, BetterReload offers clearer control, useful tab completion, and more predictable maintenance.
