LockSecurity, Key Based Container Protection

LockSecurity is a Spigot plugin that adds a key system for protecting containers and selected blocks on a Minecraft server. Players can craft keys, lock chests, trapped chests, doors, trapdoors, and gates, then share access by duplicating the matching key. Double chests and other multi block structures are supported, creating a practical security solution with an RPG feel.

Key merging, resetting, configurable key flags, permissions, lock limits, inspection tools, and administrative commands offer strong control for server owners. The plugin is open source, listed for Spigot 1.16.1 and newer, and no longer maintained. At BoxToPlay, we recommend checking compatibility before using it on a modern Minecraft server.
