Map Distance Fix is a lightweight Minecraft mod for Java Edition that improves the way maps display your location outside their boundaries. Instead of replacing your marker with a vague white dot, it keeps a clear player indicator and preserves the direction you are facing.

This makes treasure maps, exploration maps, and journeys across a Minecraft server much easier to follow. The mod can also show distances to map targets or nearby structures, with configurable display options.
