Sodium Extra for Minecraft

Sodium Extra is a client side add on for Sodium in Minecraft Java Edition. It brings many visual customization options inspired by OptiFine, while preserving Sodium’s focus on efficient rendering. Players can fine tune animated textures, particles, clouds, sky elements, weather, fog, biome colors, static entities, beacon beams, name tags, and more.

The mod also adds practical controls such as FPS and coordinates, toast notification management, fullscreen resolution, adaptive vertical synchronization, smoother menu pages, and selected visual bug fixes. It works on supported Fabric, Quilt, and NeoForge setups, helping our BoxToPlay community enjoy a more comfortable Minecraft server experience without changing core gameplay.
