PvPTimer

PvPTimer is a legacy Bukkit plugin for a Minecraft server that gives first time players a configurable period of protection from player versus player combat. While the timer is active, protected players cannot damage others and cannot be attacked, allowing them to gather resources, build, and learn the server without being immediately targeted.

The protection can be disabled by authorized players with the /timer command, while an optional action bar displays the remaining time. Administrators can customize the duration, messages, and other settings. At BoxToPlay, we recommend viewing it as an older solution, originally tested for Minecraft 1.8, rather than a modern plugin for current server versions.
