PowerRanks Expansion is a legacy PlaceholderAPI add on created to connect PowerRanks with other plugins that display placeholders. It provides variables such as the player’s rank and prefix, allowing them to appear in scoreboards, chat formats, tab lists, and other interfaces on a Minecraft server. The project was released in 2017 and was tested with Minecraft versions 1.8 through 1.12.
Current PowerRanks releases include PlaceholderAPI support directly, so this separate expansion is generally unnecessary today. It remains useful for administrators maintaining older configurations, and our BoxToPlay team can help you understand its role in a classic server setup.
