OpGuard is a Spigot plugin designed to protect a Minecraft server from unauthorized operator access, force operator exploits, and harmful plugins. It maintains a list of verified operators and replaces the usual /op and /deop commands with its controlled /opguard system.
Administrators can require a password, hide protected commands from help and tab completion, configure punishments for suspicious attempts, and review detailed logs. OpGuard also monitors plugins that try to grant operator status. Our BoxToPlay team recommends it for owners managing older Java servers, as the original 3.2.5 release targets Minecraft versions from 1.8 through 1.16.
