OldCombatMechanics is a Spigot and Paper plugin that restores the fast paced combat feeling from pre 1.9 to your Minecraft server. It removes the attack cooldown and lets you fine tune many mechanics from armour protection and weapon damage to knockback, golden apples, potions and shield behaviour, while remaining compatible with versions from 1.9 upwards.
