NexAuth, account protection for offline mode servers

NexAuth is a discontinued Minecraft server authentication plugin designed to protect player accounts on offline mode servers. It adds registration and login controls before players can access gameplay, making it useful for networks that cannot rely on Mojang account verification. The plugin was built for Java servers running version 1.19 or newer and required NightCore.

Its main features included encrypted passwords, temporary sessions, customizable commands and messages, chat based authentication, name and password validation, account limits per IP, login restrictions, brute force protection, secret questions, and post login commands. At BoxToPlay, we present it as a feature rich but no longer maintained security solution.
