AltDetector is a Spigot plugin that helps server staff identify potential alt accounts by recording player IP addresses and detecting when several accounts connect from the same address. When a match is found, authorized staff members receive an alert, while the plugin leaves all moderation decisions to administrators.
Staff can use the /alt command to inspect possible connections, including offline players. AltDetector stores data with SQLite, retains IP history for a configurable period, and can integrate with PlaceholderAPI, Discord, SuperVanish, and PremiumVanish. Shared household or public network addresses may create false positives, so our BoxToPlay recommendation is to review alerts carefully before taking action.
