Silent Witness is a Paper plugin for Java Edition that adds a discreet accountability tool to a Minecraft server. Players can voluntarily mark themselves as witnesses to crimes, disputes, or memorable events with a command. Each mark remains invisible during normal gameplay while recording the player’s name, location, and time.

An investigation command reveals witness records within a chosen area and configurable period, with twenty four hours as the default. Marks expire automatically, and the plugin avoids visual effects, persistent entities, and heavy data storage.
